Lotte Lenya Competition Finals

In 2020, I was chosen to be a finalist for the Lotte Lenya Competition. Unfortunately, the competition was cancelled due to COVID-19 shutdowns. Five years later, I am so thrilled to have been chosen again to be a finalist for the competition!

The finals will be taking place this Saturday May 3, 2025 in the Kilbourn Hall at Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. The competition will be livestreamed, and I am scheduled to perform at 2:30pm EST. I’ll start my program with Prendi per me sei libero, Adina’s aria from Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore. This will be followed by Seeräuberjenny (Pirate Jenny) from Kurt Weill’s Die Dreigroschenoper and Kindergarten Boyfriend from Heathers the Musical. To finish my set, I will be singing My White Knight from The Music Man.

The competition will also hold its first Audience Prize award, where each of the finalists will sing one additional piece, and the live and online audience can vote, starting 7:30pm.

I am looking forward to sharing my program and having this experience finally come to fruition!
